Charity trustees

Charity trustees are the people responsible for general control and management of the administration of the charity. Trustees are members of the charities governing body. Trustees bring valuable professional expertise and experience and help ensure that the charity is well managed. A trustee will be expected to commit to the role for at least three years. This role is voluntary and the intended time commitment is to meet up to three times per year in a location and at a time negotiated with trustees. Skills required:

We are looking for people with a strong personal commitment to the charities aims and objectives. In particular, we would welcome people with: -extensive business networks and community influence -an interest in international (educational) development -an interest in fund raising and/or marketing


About the organisation:

Building Futures Ethiopia is an innovative, exciting and fast growing new charity. It is committed to relieving poverty and providing education for children from rural villages in Ethiopia. It is a Harrogate based charity and was established in 2018. Working with The Ethiopian Ministry of Education and Link Ethiopia, it is committed to a four year project aimed at building and developing a 500 place primary school in Northern Ethiopia.
