Bradford MBA students come in top 3% of universities across the world at Global Marketing Competition image

MBA students from Bradford University School of Management came 35th out of over 1200 teams from universities across the world at Santander’s Global Marketing Competition.

More than 5500 pre-graduate and post-graduate students took part in the competition. Teams took part in a series of challenges involving real-life global marketing scenario over several weeks. Bradford University School of Management students Chinky Raval, Ashish Jain, and Samir Kharivale were tasked with creating a global automobile company from scratch and making strategic marketing decisions from location of production to advertising investment.

Dr. Fernando Fastoso, lecturer in marketing at Bradford University School of Management and ‘non-executive director’ for the team during the competition, commended the students on their performance: “The judges were impressed by how our students applied the knowledge they gained on the MBA programme to a real-life business scenario under a lot of pressure. Coming in the top 3% against teams from across the world is a fantastic achievement.”
