Jon Reast 1Bradford University School of Management has once again been named one of the world’s top business schools – and the best in Yorkshire – in the 2014 Financial Times Masters in Management world rankings.

The school is one of an elite group of 70 business schools around the world to achieve the ranking, which includes a World Top 10 ranking for Marketing and UK Top 10 rating for the Business School.

The Financial Times’ definitive guide of the best management programmes available in the world also show that Bradford is a world leader in terms of student career prospects, international exposure and value for money.

Jon Reast, Dean at the Triple Crown accredited Bradford University School of Management, said: “Once again, we have been recognised as one of the best providers of business education in the world. We are extremely proud to have held this ranking since it was first created nine years ago.

“The FT rankings help to demonstrate what students can expect from us – a quality education, expert insights, a deep understanding of international cultures and markets and, most importantly, a qualification respected by employers around the world.”

Bradford is only one of 11 schools in the UK to be recognised by the FT research and is ranked 59th in the world overall. The school is ranked 9th best in the UK and is named as the best in Yorkshire.

The research shows that 86 per cent of students from Bradford are employed within three months of graduating and the MSc programmes are also named as one of the best in terms of value for money.

Perhaps the most important aspect of Bradford’s programme is the international experience students can expect from the school. Bradford is ranked the best school in the UK for international student mix, course content and overseas study opportunities.

The school offers 14 full-time MSc programmes, including Management, International Business, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, HRM, Operations and Entrepreneurship. Every programme can be tailored to suit each students personal and career aspirations, with people able to choose general management or specialise in a particular area of business.

Jon Reast adds: “We are a world leader and our constant drive to innovate and, most importantly, meet the needs of the businesses of tomorrow will ensure we remain a constant feature of the FT’s definitive rankings.

“We have world-class expertise and, as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we are continuing to deliver world-class business leaders. I’m very proud of what we continue to achieve and I’m determined to ensure that we continue to act as pioneers in business education around the globe.”
